is indicated for the treatment of hypertension as substitution therapy for patients who are adequately controlled on individual drugs administered simultaneously at the same doses are in the combination drug but in separate tablets.
The use
Medicinal product subject to medical prescription. The product may affect your attention. After use, the patient should not drive or perform other activities requiring special attention.It is not appropriate to consume alcoholic beverages while taking the product.The product is used in its entirety, it must not be bitten, crushed or dissolved (if the pharmacist allows, the drug can be divided ). The product should be swallowed (if the pharmacist allows it, the product can be dissolved in water). The medicine must be taken at regular intervals or a minimum of two doses is required.
Dosage and dosing schedules
The recommended daily dose is 1 tablet once a day.
Patients with hepatic impairment:
In severe hepatic impairment, the daily dose of bisoprolol should not exceed 10 mg.
Patients with renal impairment:
In severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance <20 ml / min), the daily dose of bisoprolol should not exceed 10 mg.
Treatment should not be interrupted abruptly. Gradual dose reduction is recommended if treatment is discontinued.
Way of use
The tablets are taken at regular intervals, in the morning, independent of food, and taken with a small amount of water. The tablets should not be taken with grapefruit juice. The score line only serves to facilitate administration, not to divide the tablet into equal doses.
Warning
It should not be used during pregnancy unless clearly necessary.
Administration during breast-feeding is not recommended.
It is not recommended for use in children under 18 years of age.
Dose escalation should be performed with caution in elderly patients.
This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients with hepatic impairment.
Caution should be exercised in diabetic patients. The medicine may mask the symptoms of hypoglycaemia.
The medicine may mask the symptoms of hyperthyroidism.
Caution should be exercised during ongoing desensitisation therapy. It may increase allergen sensitivity and the severity of anaphylactic reactions. Adrenaline treatment may not always have the expected therapeutic benefit.
The patient must inform the doctor about the use of the medicine before anesthesia.
Side effects (dizziness, headache, fatigue, nausea) may occur during treatment and may impair your ability to drive and use machines.
Very rarely, photosensitivity (<1 / 10,000) may occur during treatment.
Consumption of grapefruit or products containing it (juices and the like) should be avoided during treatment.
Alcohol consumption is not recommended during treatment.
The patient must also take non-drug measures and should check and record blood pressure and heart rate on a regular basis.

Adverse effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
